Strict warnings in PHP classes

Thanks to funding by golem.de, I am working on implementing OpenID in 
Phorum using the PHP package.  It throws a lot of PHP Strict warnings. 
Is there any plan to fix the strict errors?  Would you take patches that 
fixed them?  I have seen a couple of Notice errors too.
