Using the PHP library snapshot. Some things changed since the release, 
and for example idSelect() seems to work now. At least that's the 
impression I got now since the consumer sends now:

[openid_identity] => http://specs.openid.net/auth/2.0/identifier_select
[openid_claimed_id] => http://specs.openid.net/auth/2.0/identifier_select

My server now returns:

openid.claimed_id=http%3A%2F%2Fspecs.openid.net%2Fauth%2F2.0%2Fidentifier_select
openid.identity=https%3A%2F%2Feddyn.startssl.com%2F
openid.mode=id_res
etc, etc...

I'm not sure if this is correct, because the consumer complains with:

"OpenID authentication failed: No OpenID information found at 
http://specs.openid.net/auth/2.0/identifier_select"
